A new study from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health found that more than one out of every 10 people, or 11%, who were on a waiting list died due to COVID-19.

The daily coronavirus update: Double-digit deaths for second day in a row; 82,716 total cases

Of the people whose deaths were announced Friday, three were in their 90s, six were in their 80s, three were in their 70s and one was in their 60s.
