A report by the UK's four chief medical officers says adding the mineral fluoride to water would combat tooth decay, which costs the NHS millions of pounds every year.

Of the people whose deaths were announced Friday, three were in their 90s, six were in their 80s, three were in their 70s and one was in their 60s.
