Pregnant women with COVID 20 times more likely to die and infants may have to be in NICUs longer

A new study found that pregnant women with COVID-19 were five times more likely to be admitted to ICUs and 22 times more likely to die than pregnant women who didn't have the disease.

The daily coronavirus update: Double-digit deaths for second day in a row; 82,716 total cases

Here are the latest updates from September 11, 2020: 82,716 confirmed cases; 1,897 deaths Thirteen more Minnesotans have died of COVID-19, the Minnesota Department of Health said Friday, for a total of 1,897. It was the second day in a row with more than 10 reported deaths — something that’s only happened one other time since June 19 and 20. Of the people whose deaths were announced Friday, three were in their 90s, six were in their 80s, three were in their 70s and one was in their 60s.
