Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Greater Manchester, said today it is 'more likely than not' that Ministers will put his area in the 'very high' level when the national lockdown ends next Wednesday.

Of the people whose deaths were announced Friday, three were in their 90s, six were in their 80s, three were in their 70s and one was in their 60s.
